Located at 236 N Union St, this delightful diner offers a menu that brings comfort food to a whole new level. Whether you're a local or just passing through, there's something undeniably inviting about the atmosphere here, making it an ideal spot for a casual yet satisfying meal.

One of the first things you'll notice when walking into Hash House is the friendly vibe. It's the kind of place where everyone feels welcome, from regulars catching up over coffee to newcomers eager to try the famous dishes. The interior is cozy and laid-back, with a vintage diner feel that gives it an authentic, homey touch. It’s perfect for a quiet breakfast or a lively lunch with friends and family.

The menu at Hash House is packed with options, but there's one dish that’s practically a legend: the hash browns. Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned, these hash browns are the ultimate comfort food. Served alongside just about every breakfast item, they’re a fan favorite. But don’t let the name fool you - Hash House offers far more than just hash. Their breakfast and lunch menus feature a variety of mouthwatering choices, from omelets to pancakes, sandwiches, and fresh salads.

Let’s talk about the omelets - they’re a game-changer. For instance, the "Farmhouse Omelet" is a popular choice. Filled with eggs, sautéed mushrooms, spinach, and melted cheese, it’s a savory dish that’s both filling and flavorful. If you're craving something a bit sweeter, the "Banana Foster Pancakes" are an absolute treat. Drizzled with caramelized bananas and syrup, they strike the perfect balance between indulgence and sweetness.

But it’s not just the food that keeps people coming back to Hash House; it’s also the service. The staff here is incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest feels valued. The waitstaff genuinely seems to care about making your dining experience as pleasant as possible. It’s that personal touch that makes dining here feel like you're enjoying a meal with friends rather than just another stop at a restaurant.

If you’re looking for something a bit different, Hash House offers a great selection of fresh salads and sandwiches too. Their "Chicken Caesar Salad" is a lighter option that still hits all the right notes. The grilled chicken is tender, the dressing is just the right amount of creamy, and the croutons add the perfect crunch. For a heartier choice, try the "Turkey Club Sandwich," loaded with freshly roasted turkey, crispy bacon, and all the classic toppings. Whether you're in the mood for something light or filling, Hash House offers something to satisfy every craving.

The location itself is another reason to love this place. Situated on N Union St, it’s easy to find and conveniently located near the heart of Lambertville. The town itself is charming, with its quaint shops and historic vibe, making it a great spot for a meal before or after exploring the area. Whether you’re on a day trip or a local resident, dining at Hash House fits seamlessly into a day spent in Lambertville.

It’s not just the food and atmosphere that make Hash House stand out. The restaurant has a reputation for consistency. Many diners have praised the restaurant for delivering quality meals every time. Whether you're ordering the same dish for the tenth time or trying something new, the flavors are always spot on, and the portions are generous.

In terms of pricing, Hash House is pretty reasonable. It offers great value for the quality of food and the experience. The portions are large enough to leave you feeling satisfied, but not overly stuffed. It’s a place where you can enjoy a relaxed meal without breaking the bank.

What makes Hash House particularly great is that it's not just about food; it’s about the whole experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re treated to great service, delicious meals, and a sense of comfort that makes you want to return time and time again. Whether you're popping in for a quick breakfast or sitting down for a leisurely lunch, you'll always leave with a smile.

So, if you find yourself in Lambertville, NJ, make sure to check out Hash House. From its exceptional food to its warm and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a true gem in the area.

  • Today was our first time at Hash House and we’ve already made plans to meet up with friends there next week. We loved it. It’s a neat little spot tucked into a quiet corner of Lambertville. We had the “Hash Bowl” and the “Garden State Omelette” and devoured both meals. We love finding new breakfast spots, but there has to be something different on the menu to make the drive to another town worthwhile. The Hash bowl was definitely worth the drive from Doylestown. Can’t wait to try something different next time. The atmosphere was perfect for a brunch spot. The food was great. The waitress was fine, but nothing more. Didn’t get a friendly vibe from her. Again, nothing at all negative about her, still giving 4 out of 5 stars for service, but her service/personality wouldn’t be the thing that brought me back. There was a second woman working who I believe was assisting the waitress who was very friendly and was happy to answer questions, she would make a great server. Thanks for a great breakfast! We’ll be back soon!

  • Food was incredible! We got Chicken & waffles and Cugino sandwich which are a must! And the "Hash it" is a great side with the perfect level of spiciness . .. environment is super cozy and friendly. Coffee was on point. We will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu!! Highly recommend 5/5

  • I’ve been waiting for a place like this in Lambertville, serves breakfast and lunch. Modern decor in a very relaxing atmosphere. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable and prompt/available. Food was DELICIOUS!! We ordered “The Benny” & “Hash Bowl” with the additional “Hash It” upgrade.(pictured) The Benny had fried jalapeños which I had on the side and they were delicious! Loved the variety of gluten free & vegan menu options. Had chai espresso and really enjoyed that. Hoping to get back to try shrimp & grits and smash burger on gluten free brioche. After breakfast we took a walk down D& R canal.

  • Amazing service and the food was fantastic. The gluten free pancakes were some of the best i have ever had. I would absolutely order the avocado eggs Benedict again. Korean BBQ was also a winner Several gluten free options. Love it.

  • Quiet spot to grab something to eat, the town itself is pretty quiet so it went perfectly. The food tasted fresh and had gluten free pancakes. I got the gluten free pancakes made with blueberries and I got home fries.

  • My family and I loved it here. The staff were very sweet and welcoming and the food is very good. We went during prime brunch hours so it was a bit loud since it’s a smaller restaurant but we got a window table and were able to hear fine over the noise. So if you’re looking for a quieter ambiance I would go earlier or later in the day. The owner brought out a desert for my birthday and the whole restaurant sang which was so nice. It was a great experience and would definitely go again. P.S. the matcha frappe is officially my favorite latte now!

  • Incredible! Wow! I rarely start a review like this but Hash House blew us all away. The ambiance, dishes, food, drinks, and service were top notch. We made a reservation for brunch for my daughter's birthday. We were greeted by a pleasant and smiling server who wished her a happy birthday. We started with coffee, the matcha frape, the iced chai, and a caramel iced coffee. All were fantastic. We ordered shrimp and grits, the Benny, Huevos rancheros, and the hash bowl. Each dish was plated beautifully and exploding with flavors. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection and all the fresh ingredients complemented each other. We kept passing our dishes around saying "try this"! "Oh, you have to try this"! We all loved our dishes as well as each others. My daughter's meal was free for her birthday and they even brought out a delectable creative dessert that was equally as amazing as the rest of the meal. This place is 20 minutes from our house but one of those special places worth a much longer trip to experience. Well done Hash House. Five stars all around. We cannot wait to return.
